Mehrban Iranshad, TPT

Mehrban is the host of The Tennis Files Podcast and runs a tennis blog at http://tennisfiles.com to help players improve their game. He also hosted the world's first online tennis conference in March 2017.  Mehrban has interviewed numerous professional tennis coaches and players, including iTPA’s own Dr. Mark Kovacs, Dominic King, and Todd Ellenbecker.

Mehrban graduated from The University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2007 and was captain of its Division I tennis team.  He was ranked as high as #7 in the Mid-Atlantic section and #202 in the United States in the 16s age division. Mehrban is a 5.0 rated player and enjoys playing tennis in USTA leagues and open tournaments.  He believes that fitness is a critical part of the game and pursued an iTPA certification so that he can help more players and coaches improve their tennis fitness knowledge.

In 2011, Mehrban earned his law degree from The University of Baltimore School of Law and was admitted to the Maryland Bar.  He is currently an attorney at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
