iTPA Member Spotlight: Helena Brueckner, CTPS
Helena Brueckner, CTPS As a Certified Tennis Performance Specialist (CTPS), physical therapist, and performance nutritionist, I am passionate about helping tennis athletes perform at their best while reducing injury risk and enhancing longevity in the sport. My work focuses on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and tailored training strategies, allowing players to optimize movement efficiency, strength, and recovery. My iTPA certification has been instrumental in shaping my approach. It has given me a deeper understanding of the biomechanics, physical demands, and risk factors specific to tennis, allowing me to implement evidence-based techniques that improve performance while keeping athletes healthy. Whether working with elite competitors or dedicated amateurs, I apply these principles to design individualized injury prevention and rehabilitation programs that integrate seamlessly into an athlete’s training. I collaborate closely with players, coaches, and medical teams, ensuring that training loads are optimized and recovery strategies are in place. I also provide on-the-go training support, including virtual consultations and travel-based services, to help players stay strong and injury-free throughout the season. Additionally, I am passionate about educating female athletes on the impact of the menstrual cycle on performance and recovery, helping them train smarter and more effectively. My mission is to empower athletes with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to play their best tennis for years to come. 📩 helena@atpphysio.com 🌍 www.atpphysio.com |
