Craig Acker, CTPS 

Craig attained his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a Fitness emphasis from the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse in 1996.   He played Quarterback at LaCrosse and was on the 1992 Div III National Championship Football Team.  After graduating he held the positions of a personal trainer and assistant manager at private health clubs in Boca Raton and Vero Beach, Florida until July of 1999.   Craig went to Florida State University in the fall of 1999 to become a part of the Strength and Conditioning staff and begin his Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, which he completed in the spring of 2001.  Craig was on the FSU strength and conditioning staff until October 2002.  While at Florida State he primarily worked with Football and Track, but also assisted with sports such as Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, and Softball.  His coaching efforts and duties allowed him the opportunity to work with the 1999 National Championship Football team as well as several All-American, National Champion, and Olympic Track & Field athletes.  Craig also directed and implemented the adult Seminole Conditioning Class using the athletics training facility.  Craig started helping Titus Sports Academy part time in June of 2002 and was the company’s first full time hire as a performance coach in November 2002.  He has held the positions of Fitness Director, Director of Operations, and Managing Partner during his employment at Titus from 2002-2015.  In September of 2015 he joined a private training business in Orlando called Spectrum.  Currently he’s at the National Campus for the United States Tennis Association in Orlando as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach (since November of 2016).
 
He’s trained thousands of athletes from various sports, ranging in ages and abilities from youth/novice to intermediate to professional levels. Craig holds the credentials of Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (National Strength & Conditioning Association), Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Certified (Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association), Certified Tennis Performance Specialist (ITPA), United States Weightlifting Club Coach (USAW), National Association of Speed & Explosion (NASE) certified, United States Track & Field (USATF) Level I certified, Certified Personal Trainer (American Council on Exercise), and Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certified.
