iTPA Member Spotlight: Aymen Ouertani, TPT, CTPS
Aymen Ouertani, TPT, CTPS Aymen is a Tunisian citizen currently working in Tunisia as a professional strength and conditioning trainer. He was recently invited to teach at the French Touch Tennis Academy (France) for intensive two weeks camps (April 2019) working with high level junior players, while he was preparing to take the CTPS diploma. Professionally, he has gained a wealth of experience through his 12 years teaching tennis fitness both domestically and internationally during tenure at a top tennis program in Beijing, China (2011-2015) and Tokyo, Japan (2017-2018). During these years, he worked with many nationally ranked youth players, assisting with their development and taking them to next level. He is very passionate about the wonderful sport of tennis, and began to play tennis at six years old along with a host of other sports as my parents encouraged him to discover new activities. Through his love of sports and its athletic component, Aymen chose to specialize in high performance tennis, which allowed him to be involved in the ITPA circle and continue his education through all it’s certificates (T.P.T, C.T.P.S and planning to pursue with the M.T.P.S) Along with his tennis certifications, all the educational achievements were focused on sports including a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, a Master's Degree in Technics and Sciences of Sport and 3 years of study in pursuit of a Ph.D. in sport education science. He is also a PTR certified coach for under 10 and 11-17 juniors as well as a holder of several national Tunisian tennis diplomas. He wishes to continue working with the tennis strength and conditioning field, gain more knowledge and experience and continue his international professional career in the US since he already works in three continents!
