Aaron Patterson, CTPS, CSAC, NSCA-CPT

Aaron has been involved with sports his entire life, and has used his passion for fitness, sports, and helping others to build a successful career as a sports performance coach. While he trains athletes in a variety of sports, he found his niche in tennis.

In 2017, Aaron solidified his commitment to training tennis athletes by obtaining his CTPS through the iTPA, adding the certification to his CSAC (Certified Speed and Agility Coach) and NSCA-CPT. Combining the three certifications has given him a strong knowledge base in sports performance to play a role in raising the bar amongst junior tennis players in the USTA Mid-South Illinois District. Based in Bloomington, Illinois, Aaron has trained tennis athletes across McLean County, and has extended his reach to Peoria, Champaign, and Sangamon Counties.

In the last two years, Aaron has worked with over 50 tennis athletes in the areas of tennis performance, strength and conditioning, and speed and agility, to improve their overall sports performance. The junior high and high school tennis athletes are from a various tennis programs throughout central Illinois, and include state champions and finalists, and top 100 players. Recently, two of his tennis athletes have moved on to the collegiate level at University of Utah and University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Aaron’s goal is to continue helping as many junior players as possible not only to help them find success at the next level, but to also build the reputation and strength of the Mid-South Illinois District.
