Andrea Anselmi, TPT
Andrea Anselmi has worked for over 10 years in tennis and has collaborated with professional players and coaches on the ATP, WTA and ITF circuits. He lives and works in Rome, Italy. He was responsible for the strength and conditioning preparation of an athlete ranked #130 WTA and several other ATP, WTA and ITF players.
He has collaborated with world class coaches, including Corrado Barazzutti (Fed Cup and Davis Cup Captain) and Stefano Pescosolido (former #24 ATP and National Junior Captain). He holds a bachelor degree in Sport Science and has obtained the highest qualifications as a coach and tennis strength and conditioning coach in his country. He participated in the ITF and ITF junior tournaments as a player when he was young.
His mission is to physically prepare athletes with the best training methodology and his vision is to bring out the best in each athlete. Highly motivated, his goal is to continue to prepare competitive athletes and travel on tour. He strives to be cutting-edge in the field of tennis strength and conditioning and he is constantly updating his knowledge.
He believes in the importance of asking constantly the most of yourself before asking the most of his athletes. The iTPA Tennis Performance Trainer (TPT) designation has been a vital tool for ensuring the best service for his players.
